Impact and Heat-distortion

Impact tests conducted from room temperature to 32 degree F assure panel integrity. Heat-distortion tests simulate hot weather conditions to assure our panels maintain their shape without warping or sagging.

Color-retention / Color assurance

Maintaining constant, uniform color from panel-to-panel over time and in all weather conditions assure your home will always look its best. Panel samples are exposed to natural sunlight and harsh weather for several years. Laboratory tests are also conducted to simulate extended sun exposure. A sophisticated light and color measuring device is used to monitor color from panel-to-panel, eliminating unsightly variations.

Compound Consistency

Impact strength, performance and rigidity improve with compound consistency. NAPCO inspectors frequently monitor panels to reduce variations in consistency.
